Abstract: For reference measurements and comparison of dose equivalent during in-flight investigations of the radiation field caused by interaction of primary cosmic rays with the atmosphere several radiation detector systems have been tested. For detector characterisation investigations in different photon and high energetic particle fields have been performed. Results of measurements in photon fields up to 7 MeV as well as measurements at Co^60, Cs^137 and X-ray fields will be discussed. Investigations in high energetic particle field have been done up to 70 MeV neutrons.
