I'm a post-doc at Graz University of Technology who is currently working on a project for the Ludwig-Boltzmann Institute for Clinical Forensic Imaging. I finished the Telematik study program at the same university by the end of 2001 with the Masters degree. Telematik is an interdisciplinary program supervised by two faculties. It is a combination of computer science and electrical engineering, with a special focus on telecommunication. At the moment my interests are focused on the research performed at the Institute for Computer Graphics and Vision. According to the philosophy of the institute my interests span from Image Processing to Computer Graphics and back again, with a current focus on medical image processing from 3D Computed Tomography data. My PhD thesis with the topic of nonlinear image registration applied to intra-modality volumetric data was performed in cooperation with Siemens PSE Graz and Siemens MED Erlangen. I finished the PhD project in March 2007. My interests besides computer science currently are spending time with my girlfriend Gerti and sports. My favorites are volleyball/beach volleyball and the korean martial art Hap Ki Do. Some information about Hap Ki Do in Graz can be found here. |
