Christian Leistner
Short CV
Christian Leistner received a M.Sc. in Telematics (Computer Science & Electrical Engineering) in 2006 and a PhD in 2010, both from Graz University of Technology. His thesis supervisor was Prof. Horst Bischof. He is currently a research and teaching assistant at the Institute for Computer Graphics and Vision at Graz University of Technology.
Research
My research focuses on machine learning methods, especially on-line and semi-supervised algorithms and their applications in computer vision such as object categorization, detection and tracking.

- We got two papers accepted at ECCV (1 oral and 1 poster)
- Together with my colleagues, we got 3 papers accepted at this year's CVPR 2010
- Amir Saffari, Horst Bischof and I organize a CVPR 2010 tutorial on Semi-Supervised Learning in Vision
